Franko Rada

Known for his energetic, fun-loving personality, Franko has been on the volleyball scene since the age of 12 when he began his playing career being mentored by his uncle who played collegiate volleyball in the Philippines. It was at that early age that he fell in love with the sport and couldn’t get enough of it. Franko is a student of the game and is always looking for new ways to learn as volleyball changes and progresses. During his high school career he finished as CIF city champions his junior year and made it to the CIF quarterfinals his senior year. After high school he became the girls and boys varsity assistant at his alma mater Reseda high for 5 seasons and was the varsity assistant at Taft high where he helped to lead the team to become CIF City Champions. He was the Milken Community High School girls’ frosh/soph head coach and the head varsity coach for the boys. Franko also coached at local club Conejo Crush where he was the assistant for the 15s, 16s and 17s teams and the head coach for the 14-2 team.

Franko was  the JV coach at Royal High School for 4 seasons where his team won 1st place in league in 2016.
